Terms of Service

Overview

These Terms of Service govern the use of RefOps by officiating organizations and their authorized users. By accessing or using RefOps, you agree to these terms.

Who May Use RefOps

RefOps is intended for organizations, administrators, members, officials, staff, and other users authorized by an organization to use the service. Organizations are responsible for determining which users should have access to their account and data.

Accounts and Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity that occurs under their account. Users must provide accurate information and promptly update it when needed. Organizations and users should notify RefOps if they believe an account has been compromised.

Organization Responsibilities

Organizations and administrators are responsible for the member data, files, rosters, schedules, observations, attendance records, billing records, and other content they upload, enter, or manage in RefOps. Organizations are also responsible for ensuring they have the right to use and share that data with RefOps and with authorized users inside their organization.

Acceptable Use

Users may not use RefOps to:

• Violate applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
• Upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content
• Interfere with the operation, reliability, or security of the service
• Use RefOps in a fraudulent, abusive, or misleading manner

Billing and Subscriptions

Some RefOps features may require a paid subscription or related billing arrangement. Pricing, plan limits, billing cycles, and payment terms may be described in an order form, subscription checkout flow, invoice, or other commercial agreement. Fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law or stated otherwise in writing.

Third-Party Services

RefOps may integrate with or rely on third-party providers such as Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Vercel, and Google Maps or Google Places. Use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers' terms and policies.

Availability and Service Changes

RefOps aims to provide reliable service, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, upgrades, outages, security events, and third-party provider issues may affect availability or performance. RefOps may update, improve, change, or discontinue features from time to time.

Intellectual Property

RefOps and its related software, branding, content, and materials remain the property of RefOps and its licensors, except for organization or user content submitted to the platform. Subject to these terms, RefOps grants a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service for its intended business purposes.

Termination

RefOps may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if payment obligations are not met, if use presents security or legal risk, or if an organization's subscription or account relationship ends. Organizations may also stop using the service subject to any applicable billing commitments.

Disclaimers

RefOps is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RefOps disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RefOps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption arising out of or related to the use of the service. RefOps' total liability for claims related to the service will be limited to the amount paid to RefOps for the applicable service during the period reasonably related to the claim, if any.

Changes to These Terms

RefOps may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of RefOps after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
